Description

These Thai tea bags make a glass of cha yen without the cloth filter. Drop in a bag, steep it, and you get a dark amber brew that turns a creamy orange-brown with milk, malty and mellow over ice. Original comes as a can of 50 bags of 4 g each, and Extra Gold as a can of 50 bags of 2.5 g each.

How to make it

Steep one bag in a cup (240 ml) of just-boiled water for 3 to 5 minutes, or use two bags if the tea is going over ice. Lift the bags out, stir in sugar while the tea is hot, pour it over a glass of ice, and add evaporated or sweetened condensed milk.
