Jasmine butterfly pea tea from ChaTraMue pairs jasmine green tea with dried butterfly pea flowers. It brews a deep blue, turns violet when you squeeze in lemon, and tastes lightly floral from the jasmine with a clean green tea finish.

Green tea powder (Assam) (93%), dried butterfly pea (5%), dried jasmine (2%)

How to make it

Let the kettle rest for a minute after boiling, then steep 1 teaspoon in 240 ml of water for 2 to 3 minutes; water that is too hot can make green tea taste bitter. For iced tea, brew it double strength with 2 teaspoons per cup, strain, and pour over a tall glass of ice. Add a squeeze of lemon or lime at the table and watch the blue turn violet; pour the juice slowly over the back of a spoon if you want a layered glass of violet over blue.
